Human Resources Generalist

Through our innovative platform, we provide on-line training that aim to improve staff recruitment and retention, save time and money for agencies, and ultimately enhance the quality of care. 

In addition, the HR Generalist will take full ownership of the recruiting process, driving the attraction, selection, and onboarding of top talent to support the company’s growth.

Join our growing global team as the right hand for our COO and Head of HR, by managing the day-to-day people operations and making sure all HR initiatives are executed according to plan, while supporting leadership and managers in implementing those initiatives.

Location Requirements

This position requires you to be located in Canada.

Here’s what you’ll be focused on:

HR Operations:

  • Serve as the main Point of Contact for all related HR questions from employees
  • Support all HR processes such as feedback, “pulse” surveys, team meetings, special employee landmarks and more;
  • Manage our company’s celebrations
  • Own our internal training knowledge base

Recruiting:

  • Own the recruiting process
  • Source candidates
  • Support hiring managers throughout the process
  • Manage all communication with candidates
  • Build and implement a plan for Employer branding

Onboarding:

  • Design and implement our onboarding process
  • Manage our “Buddy” program
  • Collaborate with the training manager to incorporate training on Nevvon’s products and culture for all new hires
  • Collaborate with the training manager to make sure every new hire has a specific training program

In order to be successful in this role, you’ll need to have:

  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Computer skills 
  • AI knowledge 
  • Organization and planning skills, with superior attention to detail
  • Experience in remote management best practices to support cultural initiatives

These are not a must, but will provide you with an advantage:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or an operations role
  • Relevant education
