Inside Sales Account Manager

The inside sales account manager will report to the Director of Sales and/or  CEO.

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken Inside Sales Account Manager to join our sales team. The Inside Sales Account Manager will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You should be able to close and meet targets.

To be a successful Inside Sales Account Manager you should be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. A top Inside Sales Account Manager should be very competitive, a good listener and a problem solver.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
  • Understanding customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers in company CRM.
  • Utilizing web conferences to showcase and sell products.
  • Researching and qualifying new leads.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.


  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
  • Strong consultative sales skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills
